There are a few places that sell the larger amphipods like @Paul B was scooping. I usually buy the smaller pods from the barn for my little possum wrasse in the BioCube, and also add some to my refugium in the 90. Pods for everyone! I actually thought of ordering some of the larger ones recently...@Paul B, you ship to TN, right? Maybe in one of those PODS trucks?

@WVNed, I am so sorry about Bear. Such a beautiful dog. Heck, I'm welling up now just thinking about what you all are going through. I understand completely. The urn still sits in the back of my closet from 11 months ago. It's going to stay back there for a while longer. I'm still not ready yet. Take care.

Good morning everyone! I know some of you think that Florida doesn't have seasons. Well we may not have four seasons like some of you, but we do have two seasons (unless you count strawberry growing seasons and then we have three each year). On June 1st we transitioned from one season to the next - it is now hurricane season! It's time to get ready to tie down the lawn chairs!!!

I am emailing GSD breeders. We have never bought a dog the official way so this is all new to us. They all just ended up with us because they needed homes and there we were. Even Bear.

Good morning! Just a few hours of work, then I'm off until Monday. I need to make a trip to the LFS. I'm scraping the bottom of the alk container and need more frozen food. Hair also needs a new paint job...but that won't happen at the LFS. :cool:

We have 5 seasons here on eastern Long Island. We have the normal 4, then we have "Tourist Season" when all the Floridians come here to get away from hurricanes.

Unfortunately we also have our Hurricanes. This isn't one of them, just a storm that I decided to go collect water in. Looking at this video caused me to lose 30 lbs. :anguished-face:

People come here to bar be cue in our yards.

And enjoy a little fishing from a cozy pier.

This week it was 91 degrees, not it is in the 60s.

It's baby squirrel season here. One was on the bird feeder stuffing it's face and Earnest poked it with his cane.
It jumped in a bush about 4 feet away and was sitting there going what was that.
