Good Morning!

Good morning. I was messing with getting Paddy's breakfast and spilled some dry dog food. It went all over. Then I thought about the dog training lady and how I have trained our dogs myself for may years.
I said in a quiet voice "Zoe, cleanup in aisle 6" and she got out of bed with Jill and came down and did her thing. Then she went out and then back to bed.
I wonder if they have a competition for that.

and then the My Little Pony song started playing in my head.
My little pony, my little pony
What is friendship all about
My little pony, my little pony
Friendship is magic

Then I forgot the words around that part about teeth being so big and sharp.
Funny story…. Our parrot is in the kitchen/breakfast area. He is on a pellet diet (Harrison’s Bird Food) and crumbs are always on the floor from his food. This summer I noticed an abundance of bird food on the floor. When my daughter was home for summer break I commented on this as I was tired of always stepping in it. My daughter is the who realizes that we no longer have our dog who always cleaned up around the bird cage. And yes, sometimes the bird would just throw food down to the dog if he was by the bird cage. Now I have to vacuum around the cage 2 or 3 times a day.

Our dogs love Zupreem fruit flavor bird pellets and always clean up.

Good morning! We'll be meeting up with some growling dogs this morning. Hopefully, it will help Kenzie with the dog reactivity...eventually. It's a very organized group run by our trainer and is like socialization on steroids. The hope is eventually we will be able to walk in the neighborhood and when Kenzie encounters another dog, she will just think, meh, another dog and walk on by. Have a great Saturday!

A young Montana cowboy was walking a pretty girl home from the Saturday night barn dance. He was falling in love, and it was a beautiful, romantic evening. “Edna, I bet you’ve been out with a lot of worse-looking fellows than me,” he said, bashfully. Edna didn’t answer. He tried again. “I said I bet you’ve been out with a lot of uglier fellows than me.”

“Would you keep quiet,” Edna said. “I’m trying to think!”

Good morning! Dog training went very well yesterday. It was our 2nd time to the growly dog group and Kenzie did so much better! She was actually sitting in a circle of dogs (and owners) 3 feet apart from each other. The trainers are very in tune to dog stress and will ask one to back away if the dog is getting too stressed. Kenzie was asked to back away once. The first time we went, she was out of control the entire time. For Kenzie, the reactivity is to both dogs and people, particularly men. Her foster lady had heard she was mistreated by a man, so that's probably the problem. She will warm up to men, but it takes more time. Anyway, all of this to say I'm encouraged! She's a great dog and we want to give her every chance to be a successful/less fearful dog. :)

everything will go swell.
Thanks.
Yes it does. Swell I mean.
5 weeks of compression socks 23 hours a day and some kind of blood thinner shots I give myself.
Nothing used to faze me

I wrecked a Suzuki GS1100L 1667179820032.jpeg back in the day. Flipped it in a ditch and it bounced on me. Lost lots of skin. Broke 3 ribs and bruised/compressed a lobe of my lung. Spent 5 days in the hospital. Got out and had private time with Jill and went to work at the store.

Now I feel like a big baby and worry about stuff.
