Good Morning (now afternoon here) Reefies
off to the store to buy those red and green candy cherry thingy's so the mrs. can make THOSE cookies.
dropping off some fresh smoked bacon ( a new hobby) to my hunting buddy.
and making a trip to a new FS. how close does it have to be to become a LFS?

Hola Fellow Reef Tank Enthusiasts!
Scored major at the LFS this morning. Even managed to get out the door for under $200.
Ten gallons of sea water ( because I’m too busy this week to make any ), Live Tisbe pods to seed my tank tonite after lights out, six more Astrea snails and THREE loaded Zoa frags.
Zoa’s already opened but the hermits have discovered them so they are being “groomed” right now. Pix to come later.
I also came up with an idea to mount the Branch rock with the blue (Superman?) colony on it. It’s been really hard to place because of the shape of it so I attached it to a magnetic (reef safe of course) base and have it sticking out of the back wall of the tank. Sort of a “mini floating thingy “!
Im going to lens up now and try to get come pictures.

I remember Bill Dance hitting his once.

As in THE Bill Dance? Fishing guy? My son sent in a picture of himself holding up a nice bass he caught in the pond behind our house...he was probably about 12 at the time. Bill Dance sent him a package with a video and an autographed hat. My son (now 30) still has the hat! He was so excited. I thought it was a really nice gesture.

As in THE Bill Dance? Fishing guy? My son sent in a picture of himself holding up a nice bass he caught in the pond behind our house...he was probably about 12 at the time. Bill Dance sent him a package with a video and an autographed hat. My son (now 30) still has the hat! He was so excited. I thought it was a really nice gesture.

I always called him Bill Dunce. I never meant anything bad by it. the guy is awesome if a bit clumsy. My fave was when he caught a wasp nest while fishing and jumped out of his boat. I loved watching him on Saturday mornings.

Good Sunday morning! Today will be an exciting day of running the RO/DI unit (with the duck alarm set so I don't overflow my water jugs), testing a few parameters, and performing a W/C on both tanks. Woooo! Have a great Sunday! Back to work tomorrow, but only for 3 days...;Joyful

Good Morning! 20 mph sustained winds today with snow. The good news is that it's a toasty 23 this morning. The temperature won't change more than a couple of degrees all day. I am still trying to figure out how a weatherman knows what each temp "feels" like. The secondary temp always makes me laugh. Yesterday it felt like like 7. I thought it felt like 20 something and 15 mph winds with 30% humidity. In other words, a somewhat pleasant day if you could get out of the wind. Have a great day and stay safe.

Dreary day here today, weather wise. Angela is giving me a day off from ALL CHORES today. She went out to do some last minute shopping and warned me that the hen house and parrot cages “better not be cleaned” when she gets home. She’s definitely a keeper.
I get to just look at my tank and watch football today!
Have a Safe, Healthy and Happy day my friends!

I wonder if she’ll make me French toast when she gets back?
On the other hand, I better not push it and just make it myself! LOL!
