I know i'm not losing my memory and for the life of me cant recall if there are christmas sales or not on christmas eve/day. My memory says there arent BUT with the circumstances this calendar year and the impact it had on sales . . . who knows.

Chaos Aquaculture will be doing a Facebook auction on Christmas day. They had a vote to see if folks wanted to move the normal weekend auctions. Pretty stoked since we're doing Christmas the day before :)

I went to a furniture store last weekend looking for a large couch. The salesman showed me a nice one and said, “This sofa will seat five people without any problems!” I began laughing uncontrollably.

Good Morning my Reefer Family!
I not usually one to make fun of any of our furry, feathered of finned family members but we had a situation here this morning that I needed to share.
Stuart, our youngest cat, evidently swallowed a hair off the floor. Sitting here having my second cup of coffee, I can hear him frantically digging in his box. Normally, after his morning #2, he gets the “zoomies “ but this was different. He was running around the house like a freight train. He ran past me and I can see he had a huge “dingle Berry” hanging from his butt on a hair “fuse”! He was in total panic mode.
Of course I sprung into action and had Angela remove it!

This morning the girl upstairs from me frantically called to tell me she has a gas leak and is outside in her car because she shut off her heat and opened the windows.
If her house blows up, my house also blows up so I ran upstairs to check it out.

I didn't smell anything but I don't smell anything most of the time. After you hit a certain age, your nose is just a protrusion with no function except to breath and you can do that with your mouth.

She was going to call a plumber. I told her "Never, like Never" call a plumber especially since I live downstairs and in another life was a plumber, (among other things)

She was obviously distressed so I told her to call the gas company and they will come right away for free with a "sniffer" tool and tell you if you have a leak.

They "sniffed" all over my house and didn't find anything and now they are still upstairs in her house.

I didn't tell them because it is embarrassing but I have a load of asternia starfish and many times I see them passing gas so I think that is it. :oops:

I have been cleaning the kitchen after "let's make pizza" party last night and holding unhappy babies.
Rudy's benign fatty tumor he has had for years suddenly no longer seems benign so Jill has taken him to see the vet this morning.
The cousins got to meet for the first time a few days ago.

The monsters are playing in the basement

Jill's dad is coming to stay for a while tomorrow. There is supposed to be a lot of snow so those plans may change. He likes fish and but not cats. We will see how that goes.
The glass on the tanks is awful and one of the reactors is plugged up but I havent had time for my usual routine.

Jill just called and they are keeping Rudy and are going to operate on him.
