I just got back from my morning walk and while I am waiting for my muffins to bake I got a minute to post.
My walk this morning took me through a grave yard and it is very old. I mean VERY old.

Here are some of the tomb stones.


The round one in the back I think it is the oldest and it was hard to make out the inscription but it reads something like this:

Here Lies Orgg. (no last name)

Good morning! No severe weather warnings. They don't happen, until a bad storm hits anyhow.
Lots of rain due after 6pm. The doggo will love it, not.

Its funny, I've been in the aquarium hobby for roughly 40 years and some of my mentors have been in the hobby for about 70+ years so depending on the situation I sometimes feel like the new kid. One of my mentors that passed away in 2016 had been in the aquarium fish hobby for over 80 years!

And, we're still learning new things all the time. I am still reading up on uronema and velvet. Since, that information has changed since I was out of the hobby. 3 yrs... And new information pops up!

Good morning. I always thought it would be nice to retire on an island somewhere. But now with the frequency of the hurricanes I’m thinking high on a mountain top might be a better choice. lol

I should have asked them if they did fedex or ups. It left Memphis on time. Berkeley, MO never updates departure for me. Still waiting to see when it says "on vehicle for delivery". They don't get here until noon anyhow.

I breathed deeply and Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds began to play from somewhere. My chest hair is waterproof now.

Have you ever tried medical marijuana for your Parkinson's? I hear it can do wonders for some people. It can help with the Parkinson's too.

Seriously though, have you? I hear it can be really helpful.

Humans started growing marihuana around 500BC. Just like Garlic a whole host of curative properties have been associated with it. To the best of my recollection it is good for glaucoma, anxiety and nausea from chemotherapy.
Beyond that it has failed to do any better then a placebo for other uses, just like garlic.
If it had curative properties there would be a host of analogs in the pharmacy formulary like their are for opium/morphine/heroine.
