Good Morning! It's a toasty -11 this morning. Made the walk to work quicker than normal. Fortunately no wind. We are expecting 1-2 inches of snow tomorrow. It got down to -20 on my days off. I managed to stay inside for that. I've been outside in -50 and I prefer to not be in anything colder than -20 if I can help it unless it involves ice cream. I had to defrost my freezer this weekend so the cold weather was great, I just put everything outside on the porch. I used my blender to make ice cream and also put it on the porch. Good Morning. the phone rang downstairs while i was sleeping, so i came down without dressing to try to get it before it stopped ringing; too late, so i poured some coffee and checked the mail and your posts. i just realized that i need some warmer clothes to be sitting at the computer. like any clothes... enjoy the day.

This morning my wife and I went to a diner for breakfast like we always do on Sundays.
A young-er couple sitting near us picked up our check without saying anything on their way out.

I don't know if it was due to my Viet Nam Veterans hat or the fact that my wife is handicapped. I am pretty sure it isn't because of my good looks, but my wife is pretty good looking. :)

People around here are extremely nice and I get surprised by it almost every day. :D

in other news.... nice haul from the coral expo yesterday.
shrooms, zoas, a leather and something new for me.... snake corals.

I've never heard of a snake coral, so I had to Google it. I got a bunch of images of coral snakes, so I immediately closed it! ;Hilarious I need a picture of a snake coral that doesn't look like a coral snake!

It's funny when you hear about it, but when you see it happen you get the feeling that you are in some sort of biblical plague! You then have the "helpful" people that pick them up and put them in their car, garage, etc. and then life really get dramatic. Truly crazy stuff!!!

Good Morning! It's a sweltering 18 this morning. I enjoyed the warmth this morning since it shouldn't get this warm as a high for the next couple of days. They are saying around an inch of snow today. We need more, it's melting quick and there's none in the forecast. If this holds we can expect lots of wildfires and hoot owls for the fishing season. Good Morning. there is squash and oatmeal in my forecast. RODI is making in the basement, the tanks are full, the bengals and rams are going to the super bowl!! whats not to love? weather? no flaming asteroids here, so I'm good with whatever is going on out there. man! enjoyin' life!!
