Hey guys I have a question I'm being doing all types of coral for a long time but never had a gorgonia a friend of mine has so meny all over his tank and they look amazing they are photosynthetic he says my question is can they be near torches, hammers or sps?

If I'm not mistaken there are both photosynthetic and non-photosynthetic gorgonians.

Yes I'm aware of that being photosynthetic and non- photosynthetic I'm just nervous to put them close to my very expensive torches and sps

I agree that the torches will win. I would probably have some separation from your expensive corals, yes.

My gorgonian touches my hammer and frogspawn and mushroom, I havent seen any negative affects. It grows pretty fast actually, I need to cut it
