I believe its more of an issue if you ingest it. maybe get a rash or some itchiness but I wouldn't think much at all if it was only seconds.

I think you should be okay since you're able to post here on the forum . It would be a different story if it shot into your eyes or mouth. Just wash it off good with soap.

ingest or access through cuts. if you are really REALLY concerned, go sit in the local ER so if you start having symptoms, you are already there.

Yeah you’ll be fine if you got hit in the mouth be worried, if you got hit in the eye be worried, if you boiled it and inhaled the vapors be worried. Other then that was the area and you’ll be fine.

You'll be fine! I've had that happen before which is why I wear safety glasses and keep my mouth closed when messing with zoanthids!

Open sores in the water or getting it in your eyes or mouth are major concerns. Otherwise, they are safe to handle carefully.

Are you feeling any type of uneasy symptoms now, besides being worried? If you don't feel well, then check yourself into the ER. If not, don't worry yourself too much. Remember to wash your hands or any parts that have come in contact with your fish tank.

Lol, I love it when "death" is listed as a symptom.

FWIW I had what I believe was mild exposure to paly toxin a few months ago. My main symptoms were rapid heart rate, major back/leg aches and the chills.

Typically within a few minutes-hours. For me it was 24 hours, which is why I have some doubts that it was really palytoxin.

Or you got really lucky and the paly’s that squirted you do not contain paly toxin.
