Congrats Freddie....:)

Thanks, Anirban

Their doing great... :)

Question:
What's the difference in Components Pro vs Comp 1+ 2 + 3+ ?

Is the Pro a more concentrated formula?

Yes Freddie, if the claim is true then its twice as concentrated than the regular components.

Alright guys.

After deep thought and 2.5 years with the cal reactor running smoothly, I'm kinda bored.
and, not sure what's going to happen with the large Reborn media.

If the Reborn is gone for good then it's kind of a deal breaker, because my melting point stays at 7.0 inside the cal reactor, while pushing 280 mls per min. on the reactor's constant stream.

We dosed the Red Sea ABC+ powder with colors C and D for exactly one year.
It was a great ride, but you can't automate the ABC+ powder.

We...
Just bought 3,000 mls of TM All for Reef and a new nitrate kit and phospahte reagents.

I'll dose by hand and test as we go, if all things work out well, including
good ph and nitrates / phosphates not bottoming out / because it does slightly carbon dose too, then... I might buy the 10 liter DIY mix your self bundle at $112 and get a new DOS pump.

We'll keep the cal reactor running, but shutting off it's solenoid's switch in Apex Fusion.

Hans-Werner was kind enough to post the strength on Randy's forum

1 ml contains 5.6° dKH

10 ml contain 56 ° dKH and will increase the alkalinity per each 100 liter by
0.56° dKH

lol
Love the GEO, but always like to try something new, keeps things interesting.

:D

I had a chat with the manager at my lfs on Sunday, I am swapping from Reeflowers liquid 2 part to All for reef, they are out of stock but are getting it back in as it is so popular!
I manually dose but am loving the thought of a one part! ;)

I see you mentioned it already but was going to say check out the video regarding the DIY mix TM All for Reef. After reading that, the inter action by Lou and TM in general I'm considering switching salts and dosing to their product line. I continue to be amazed at TM and how they interact with hobby. It seems affordable the DIY kit.

Nice updates also. Hope all is well.

Yeah,
BRS just got in the 1,000 ml bottle back instock, but you can mix your own.

Nice, I will like to see how those NO3 and PO4 supplements work.

We're going to find out, I'll test before dosing and see if the gfo reactor needs to go offline or feed up for nitrates too.
.... ;Nailbiting

I didn't realize there was a carbon dosing component to this. Is that something additional they add or just a biproduct of it?

Yeah,
The carbon dosing is a biporduct, which I'd rather not have, we'll see if it's a deal breaker.

They are great dosing pumps, if EcoTech get the bugs worked out of the XV-1, may go that route, if we stay with the all for reef.

How's things going your way, are you still traveling a lot?

We got lucky with the storm going north of both of us last night.
Last I heard the death count was up to 23... :(

Yes, the storm was terrible :(, I am glad you and your family are fine. Some of my colleagues had some damages in their properties.:(

I started traveling the year but the COVID-19 has halted all travel but I had to go to Mexico to renew my visa. I am down here since last Saturday.

Siblings still doing great with the adjustment with no jealousy.

Saw Simon on unauthorized forum, causing trouble.... ;Hilarious
See @crusso1993 for that info... :D

All for Reef???

testing-in-progress-slider-sign-se-5613.gif

So we turned off the GEO's solenoid switch Thursday evening to gauge the S-400's 24 hr alk drop.

Came in at 1.2 dkh 24 hr drop, and we're holding just about 78 gallons of total water.

Used Han's formula that came to 60mls, but dosed 50.

alk drop was .3 dkh over the last 24 hours.

So, bumping up alk with Reef Builder and dosing 55 ml of All for Reef this evening.

If you would like to read the below..., All for Reef is like tuning in a calcium reactor on an established reef.

Better to maintain, than to raise an reef's parameters.

Reef looks good after the first day, but (lol) have been dosing TM K and A trace elements over the past two weeks. Looked good, stopped those Thursday evening.

Nitrates came in at 40ppm... ;Wideyed, that's you get for stopping your weekly water changes for over 3 months.

Phosphates to be determined tomorrow evening, bought the wrong phos ulr hanna reagent... ;Eggonface
But, we did turn off the GFO reactor last night.

New hanna reagents and NYOS phos kit will be here tomorrow.

Hope you guys are having a nice weekend!!
