Looks good freddie. Maybe I was wrong, maybe you just need two more A80's up front, not 3.
Lol!!

The Kessil / "Stealth Bomber'' is compelte!!

It's a standard model.
I talked with @2una and he said the DasTaCo's have a super low media melting point.

So, He told me to stay on coarse with the GEO, so that I won't have to dose kalk for ph re-bound.

I use the Sicce 1.0 for the feed pump, but run the reactor like this video that @hybridazn shared.

Hybird's output stream.

So, we're both streaming and not dripping.

Beside the Apex to control the reactor's melting point went with these.
https://www.geosreef.com/product/geo-cr612-calcium-reactor/
https://www.geosreef.com/product/smc415/

And went overboard with this regulator.
http://greenleafaquariums.com/products/gla-pro-1-ss-co2-regulator-two-stage.html

Per GEO:
I run the large reborn media with 10% ZEOmag in stage one / and the small ARM media in stage two.
GEO said that the small ARM media is best at gassing off the Co2 and provides different trace elements that the reborn media dose not provide.

Hope that helps.

Yes. Great help!
Thanks for your time and tips.

Okay, coping what you just said for later reference!

DasTaCo's pH melting point is what?

I am not sure what is the dastaco ph melting point. I never measured it and as this reactor runs more or less automatic, never doubted about it.
My tank PH is around 8.2-8.3 at all times.
When starting the reactor, PH dropped till 8.0 but with an oversized skimmer and good flow, it stabilized 0.2 points higher.

Nicely done Freddie.
It sure looks like something that will take off soon. Let us hope it will be the corals!!

That looks very cool! Best thing is it does not have half a dozen cords gnarling all over the place. Nice job!

It does look sharp!

Thanks guys, It means a lot!!
:)

FWIW:
I can't push the a80's over 60% in intensity. I've tried to push them more, but everything including Vader and the Bounce just can't take it.

@NY_Caveman
Thanks for the compliment on the install. I'm OCD about wires too, and the Red Sea Series helps that out. We did have to modify inside of the light bar's, side mounts / (to run the wires down and out of the bottom) , but it was worth the time and trouble to make it nice and clean.

Happy Lobo...

Don,
I think it starts at about an 6.5 melting point, but you use man made media for those, and the man made media has a lower melting point before it kicks in.

@Janci
Runs one like 2una, and he could explain a DasTaCo's better than I can.

I think @fabutahoun is running an Reef Octopus cal reactor, but I can't remember if he has a second stage.

Right now my Apex Fusion averages at 7.0 (inside the reactor) for the melting point with the GEO.

When we started the GEO, the reef was taking in .6 of alk per day and it's in-taking 1.1 to 1.2 of alk per day, now.

Freddie

For Now I run one stage only, and pushing the reactor to its limit, PH average at 6.55. I think a second chamber will be added soon.

So what would you say your overall experience with the CaRx has been Freddie and would you ever consider going back to not having one?

Also for those of us who are generally interested on how people handle their goes ins and goes out you have.

Purigen, GFO and 15% water changes out

CaRx, Red Sea colors (still maybe?) and Water Changes in

?

10 months in, and "Love" the Cal Reactor ;Woot
Don't see going back to / Two Part or Three Part dosing.

Since we brought the DD salt online, there's no need to juice any #'s while mixing.
It keeps the Cal Reactor tuned in, to the big-3 that I run.

GFO / Purigen and the 15 gallon weekly water change, keeps the S-400 locked in.

I dose 1 ml of the Red Sea "Color's" on Tuesday, but... like Kevin Davies told me:
I should use the Red Sea "Color's" test kits, since we brought the GEO online.

Water changes is and will always be one part to my puzzle, and the Python No-Spill, siphon's out the detritus from the BB floor.

"Many ways to skin a cat"

I love to watch how other's handle things too.

:)

What's going on with the tank??

Not good, Jeffery

We hoped the PBT had constipation, but it's looks like Swim Bladder.

He's going to be a goner, by the am... :(

Welp,
Just siphoned out the PBT...

Gave him the quickest most humane death, that I could provide.

Got him two January's back, and it sure is a bummer ;Sorry
