Thanks,

It had just fell over to the one side, when I took that shot.

Kinda freaked me out too, until I noticed that it had slipped

It has been mounted, with tight mouths, and billowing back like it was.

Last shot that took, after it was mounted solid, back into it's place
MVIMG_20200516_170013.jpg

and was billowing more right before lights out, but thanks so much for pointing it out.
Ah.. gotcha . It’s a stunning specimen.

Well guys

The Regal starting nipping a tad on the trachys on Monday, if she does not lay off then I'll trade them to the Aquatic Critter, next weekend.

Since salt prices have gotten really high, we're back on regular IO.

The new ReefWave-25 controller came in on Tuesday and it has ran smooth as silk to this point. Pretty impressed with the ease of programing with their ReefBeat app.

Also got in the Milwaukee:
Mi412 Low Range Phosphate Photometer Kit... ;Wideyed , but have not used it yet.

And this is the frag, that was left over from the big green acro

Kinda looks like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, but hoping she'll take off again

Just did the 18% weekly water change, bout where we stand.

I'm only on page 61 but your tank is gorgeous (after which I fully expect one of these)
@FredsNJReef
Thanks!!!

(lol)
Been finding a lot of 4 leaf clovers, as of late :)

Freddie
(lol)
The S-400 will be in the dumper by next week...
(lol)
S-400 is overdue for some bad mojo... ;Nailbiting
It cracks me up when you say one of those things.
Also when you say "preform" the weekly water change, at this point I think it has to be intentional but if not I believe you can take the small poke ;)
Also I love the way you do your Why does GoVols do this this way style updates. Its very unique! Looking forward to catching up to your thread and in mimic of your style I'll give you plenty of likes so you know I'm coming!

Also I think you call him "Brain" waaaayyyy more than "Brian"
Your close, she came from the Maldives.

I bought her from Brain at Reefwise (WYSIWYG) in Chicago.
He did an great job with her.

I'd been waiting on a small juvi Regal for along time and all the sudden, Brain popped her up after he QT'd her.

@HolisticBear and myself saw a small juvi like her, pop up on Diver Den and it was gone (ASAP)

I do deal with dyslexia, but as long as it does not bother ya'll, then there's no worries over here... :)

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef, and hope you find something good to take away in this thread.

Edit:
One of those quotes are about the bta loses, over time I feel like the dog Front Line Plus caused it, and not an overdose of trace elements.

If you go to BRS and look at questions asked on the KZ Trace Element Complex.

Mine asked: Which trace elements are in that?

Answer was: It's really amino acids... ;Wacky

lol
Just name the stuff... KZ Amino Acid Complex... ;Hilarious

We'll do, Rich

With the w i d e vial openings to get all the powder in, and the way it locks the vails in place, it does seem promising.

Mitch told me it has always matched is ICP reports, and then I found this thread.

op's post #9 looks good.

Looking great Freddie! Tanks looks fantastic after the rescape!

Rick,
Thank you

At least it's a starting point, I could see going back to more arcos on the top level down the line.

Need to trade in that one Duncan colony, but it's going to take awhile to get things done.

Pushing a ton a flow right now, the Achilles loves that... :D

Hope you guys are all healthy in FLA.

Well now I feel bad for poking at your spelling. I am at the point in the thread where you've lost the 3 anemones and just gotten a green BTA. Still catching up but I just saw a spoiler comment about an achiles tang (which is probably my favorite fish) excited to get to that part.

Don't feel bad, we all have our stumbling blocks, kinda keeps me to be more humble about things.

dog, Front Line Plus got into the reef and did something to the tissue cells of those btas... :(

Dang,
I'll never find another true Sherman bta again.

Rich,
I just used it for the first time, it is so much easier to use (user friendly) than the Hanna checkers.

Came in at .01ppm, just dosed 6mls of phosphorous to hit .03ppm

Just finished the whole thread. I wish I was there for the whole ride.

Hopefully covid will die down soon enough so you can go snuggle the grand babies!

The new trachys and rescape looks fantastic and I'm sure will only get better as it fills back in. I'm sure they will do well with @Katrina71 the miracle tank.

I hope the regal loses interest in the trachys its would be a shame to have to trade those gorgeous pieces in.

Thank you for sharing your journey with everyone its a good read and lots to learn in here! I'll leave you with these pics of our new baby.

Gotta ask:

Freddie

Rich,
This meter has been a let down to be honest.
Last night it read .01, .03 and .09 ppm / old Hanna ULR .21 and .24 ppb
So, I really think I'm at about .07ppm

Got the "newer" Hanna ULR ppm checker on the way / and the "new" Red Sea Pro alk kit is very accurate. You really got to take that kit to the very light green for it's end point.

From Alka-T to Hanna, Salifert and the "new" Red Sea Pro, bout .2 ppm in variance.
