This is probably going to be an odd question, but here goes... of all my livestock, I only really have one fish that’s exclusively herbivore: a linear Blenny.
All the various sites say they should be grazing all day on algae on the live rock. The thing is, I don’t have any algae. At least visible. I’ve only ever used RODI water, do water changes religiously, and try and keep good filtration. My Blenny just cruises around occasionally picking at rocks. But I don’t think he’s getting much. He doesn’t seem to be too interested in the pellets or frozen mysis.
Should I get sheets of algae and a clip? Or is there frozen veggie pellets he might like? Everyone else eats like a champ, and I just feel bad for Blenny. He’s a super cool fish, lots of personality. I just wanna make sure he stays full and healthy!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
