My Kenya tree is a monster as you can see in these pics. I’m going to frag off some of the branches but can I cut some of the trunk off too… like in half ?? Wanting to make it shorter and wasn’t sure it that would hurt it.

Cloning/pruning branches from mature soft coral is good husbandry.

I would not mess with the tree trunk.

cutting the main stalk could kill it completely
Has happened to me before with a Kenya, wanted it shorter so I cut it and it slowly melted
