Hi,
I have a small-medium green sinularia in my reef tank (mixed) and was wondering how to prevent it's toxins, and what the toxins affect would affect in my tank. Any info would help. Thanks!

Simply add chemipure blue or elite to your sump and it will block them and keep water polished as it’s super grade carbon

I run a bag of something (GAC - switched to Chemipure Blue). Don't see any issues. Then again, I've let that bag go far beyond life time and nothing happened either. Few finger leathers, toadstools....and the blasto, hammer, and zoas all look ok.

Have had many leathers/sinularias over a number of years. Never had 1 toxin incident. While possible, think it’s more hype than anything else.

Found this thread as I was searching. Need to move my green sinularia to another spot as he's grown huge. Will it let off toxins when I touch it to move frag base? TIA :)

No. I also have a huge one which I periodically trim with scissors to keep it’s size in check. Do it right in the tank, no carbon, no issues.
