green star polyp not spreading

ive had my green star polyp for a couple months now and it has not grown off it's white piece i bought it on...is there anything i can do to speed up the process or is it just a weird coral??

count your blessings that you still have room in your tank...when they decide they want to take off you will be wishing it stayed complacent

If water parameters are right it should spread like a weed. Mine was a small frag and turned into the size of a grape fruit in a few months. Its since slowed down but is now growing on the sand bed. What are your parameters looking like?
