How long does it take for a green toadstool to grow 6 inches or full size? Can you guys send a picture of your green toadstools?

Depends on each tank.

Here is mine in my old tank ( Ultra Low Nutrient System ).

It had super long sweepers then, but now in my new tank there much shorter, same coral though.

Give it strong light and strong flow and nutrient rich water, and it will grow an inch a month, give it 6 months to get 6". I had to take mine out of the tank after only one year cause it was shading half my tank.

There is no way to give an accurate growth rate.
And there is no size limit. I had one in a 18" wide 135 gallon tank that filled it front to back. When I gave it away, the guy thought it would fit in a 5 gallon bucket. It didn't.

This one is about 16” across folded. Not sure how long it took to get that big. Probably went from 6” across to that size in a little over 2 years.

The one to the right is one of its babies. Went from bud to that size in maybe 18 mos.

This tank was a super softie tank. I started with one 8” GTS, and ended up with about 75” worth of GTS within about maybe 6 years (you can’t see all the colonies in 1 pic).

Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, the tank got too cold during a very hot spell (tank was in lower level of house and client had AC cranked up). Most of the corals bleached, and 90% ended up dying off. However, there were a few buds that made it, and they’re probably 5” across now.

I find them to grow kinda slow at first, then they really take off. I have had one I had to cut down a ton bc it was shadowing everything below.
