Welcome to reef 2 reef! Corals can definitely be frustrating. What kind of fish are you looking to get?
I have two Clowns and I want to get Blue Hippo, Emperor Angel, 2-4 Cardinals, Diamond Goby, 4-6 Blue/Green Chromis and a Lawnmower Blenny. It is a 150g so I don’t want too much. I used to just have 2 Clowns, Blue Hippo and a Sailfin tangs.

Hello CJ and Welcome to R2R! I didn't want to pay the high price for a quarantined fish so I have a 30 gallon that I use for quarantine. I don't mind keeping the fish for a couple of months in the separate tank because it adds a level of excitement when I'm able to introduce it to one of the other tanks.
