Welcome to R2R, try to get her to pick out some inhabitants, perhaps that may help
She has and named a few but just isnt interested. She wonders how I can just stare at it all the time lol. Accidentally already told her I spent 350 on a couple coral and the reaction was priceless.

Girlfriend isn't interested but I still try getting her to listen lol

Yes, take her to your LFS, and let her pick out your next fish, and/or corals. My dad let me do this a couple of times. Then I started feeding them. Within a year I had my own tank, and now, 20 years or so later, I have three, and my daughter is now showing interest in this hobby.

That's cool your daughter is interested, my 7 year old son it also. He's always wanting to go to the lfs and pick out new fish and coral. I'm happy we have this together. He named my Black and White clown -Venom he would love a little nano tank. Now you got me thinking

Same with my girlfriend. The fish get all the attention, "corals are just salty plants...boring" haha!

Love your coral placement!

Welcome to R2R and happy reefing!
