Hello Everyone,
After lurking for sometime, while my new Reef Aquarium becomes established, and learning from some of the great posts and information on this wonderful forum. I think it's time I introduce myself and say hello. I've been away from the hobby for over six years, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. My new Reef Aquarium is an SC 50G with two Current USA 24" LED lights, Current Bluetooth Loop Control, two Current 660 GPH power heads, 1050 GPH Current DC Return Pump. I'm using the stock SC skimmer, with no socks, just the filter media pads, ceramic rings and the plastic bio balls that come with the SC Aquariums. I did add a couple tablespoons of TL Reefs Rox Carbon in a media bag between the filter pads. Cobalt 300 watt heater. Innovative Marine ATO Aqua Gagit controller, pump and 5 gallon reservoir. My refugium has Marine pure blocks, Miracle Mudd and Algae Barn 5280 pods, and Cheato with a 9 watt innovative marine cheato grow LED light. And using Algae Barn Ocean Majik. The tank has only been set been set up for a month and a half and I recently introduced a Royal Gramma and a purple Firefish. I'm taking it slow and looking forward to adding more livestock.
