Hello everyone, been lurking, reading and researching for a while and have finally started collecting equipment to start having fun.

My name is Rich and I am from Lake Saint Louis, MO

I have been fascinated with the ocean for a long time and since I don't get to dive a much as I would like in the ocean living in the mid-west I decided its time to make the move from freshwater to a marine tank

My Fiance bought me a used rr 75g with stand and canopy for my birthday a couple weeks ago to join my current equipment collection.

I have picked up a eshopps sump, its only a RS-75 which is on the small side for a 75g from what I can see. I plan on using it to get started and cycling and when i can get a RS-100 I will upgrade. I am also looking at a PSK-100 eshopps skimmer for the tank which I had planned on getting in a couple months when I start adding fish. I picked up a RO buddie RO/DI system and am in the process of building my water station in the basement, plumed/pumped upstairs for easier water changes.

Lighting I have not yet figured out, I have a 24" 4 bulb t5 set up that was for a bow front I was originally going to use. That for the time being during the cycle and before I start adding any corals I will mount it to the tank.

my final decisions and purchases are heater, pumps and powerheads/wavemakers so that I can get started.

I am one that reads and researches a lot and sometimes too much before making decisions and purchases.. But i look forward to picking some of your brains to make the best decisions for my tank(s)
