Hello all, been remiss with my intro. Trying to work my way back into the hobby after over 30 years. Started small (16 gal. Biocube) to get my wife hooked again. Seems to be working. :cool: Actually, the reef aspect is new to me so I am soaking up as much as I can from the wealth of knowledge on R2R. Things have certainly changed as the Internet was not an available resource back in the day.
A quick anecdotal story from the last time we did this: one of my most vivid memories was getting a letter from my wife while I was away at U.S. Coast Guard Basic Training explaining that she had spent the last of the money buying food for our fish. That added an interesting set of dynamics to an already stressful situation, but it's also one of our favorite stories regarding the hobby.
