Yes, the head / body shape doesn't look to be Epinephelus flavocaeruleus, but I could see how it they could've misidentified it because of the yellow fins. Never seen a grouper locally like this before.I'm by no means any kind of grouper expert, buy it looks closer to a yellow grouper than the images of blue and yellow groupers that I've found online.
