Does everyone that's fragging their encrusting montis just grow them on 3x3 tiles and as they out grow the tile they just lay more tiles around the original tile? Then when there's enough you just remove a tile, chop it up and then sell?

Go get some of the flat / thin man-made live rock pieces and grow them on those. Super easy to chop up and put pieces on frag plugs or tiles to sell.

I grow them on 3x3 tiles. Then when it's about covered I cut them into about 1" pieces and glue on plugs or other tiles
