growth in old bottle of all for reef?

So, i have an "old" bottle of all for reef, that has what looks like some nasty looking growth in it.
doesn't look like percipitate.

still ok to use?

I cannot see it exactly but it looks like some precipitate, stained by iron.

This may happen in the saturated solution and it is harmless. Neither calciumformate, calciumcarbonate (which may have formed) nor small amounts of iron hydroxide will cause any harm in a reef aquarium.

We are very sorry about this problem and that it causes any worries.

I see. I’ve read your posts over the years but had no idea. I can read Chinese and your name always intrigued me so I had to ask.

Sorry, Germany is the country of my origin.

I looked for the Chinese transliteration of my family name in a translator and was quite surprised that the translator was able to do it. I thought it would be fun to use it as my avatar. The two syllabes are spoken buh - ling, if I have transliterated it to English correctly, maybe bar - ling.

The avatar is just a kind of riddle or fun.
