Growth on fish

My clownfish (the black one) has a white-translucent growth on its right eye, could this be due to low salinity? And what should I do? Also I ask about salinity because I am at 1.023 because my parents neglected to take me to get more saltwater even though I am out. I may be able to get some today now that I told them about a growth on my fish.

Your Salinity is not the problem so don't worry about that right now. I see what looks like an Injury but hard to tell. Is there behavior normal? Eating and such, and I'll bet they are fighting.

I haven’t seen them show aggression, at least not often enough for me to be there when it happens. They are both eating but the orange one may be aggressive around food because it usually darts to the pellets faster, and when the black one sometimes spits it out to make smaller pieces, the orange one will steal it. Do you think this could be it? I felt like the amount of food that I gave is substantial. I feed them approximately 8 pellets at 7:30am and pm of Sera marine granules.

This looks to be an eye injury and specific gravity is acceptable low. You can keep an eye on eye injury or if cloudy as it appears, treat in a separate tank using Maracyn as pictured below

You might try upping the feed amount, and perhaps add in some fresh seafood like chopped up mysid shrimp.

Just purchased medication, will get out my ancient three gallon. How long should the fish be in there with the medication? And to fill it should I just take a scoop of water out of the main tank?

In case there is a question on water quality, mix new seawater and treat at least 5 days and use air stone

Do you know why they could fight, or how I could stop it?

They need to pair up and still they might fight. I'm not an expert on Clownfish pairing except you usually want one much smaller than the other. I only keep one in my large Tank.
