GSP closed up

Any idea why my GSP would look like this. All my parameters are in check but I have been turning up my black boxes a bit. There at 1% whites and about 35% blues.

You just get it? I wouldn't worry too much. When I had GSP, it would close up once in a while. It does like flow though, so make sure it gets enough.

Try upping the whites and see if it responds. I know lot's of people run really high blue's but I personally think they need more white light to take off. I run my whites at 20%, blues at 35%, but that's because my wife likes them that way, lol. JMHO. What are your parameters specifically as far as chemistry goes? My GSP has quadrupled in 4 months. And yes, they love moderate flow.

The mat still looks nice a purple so its probably fine. Mine closed up for about a month before coming back with a vengeance. I believe my issue was water quality related tho i had alot of cyano and junk going on at the time due to my rodi filter being toast so thats something to look into as well.
