I got a nice piece of GSP from a reputable retailer yesterday lunchtime. It was packaged up as I brought it online and was told it would take a day to settle in and come out.

24 hours on it's still a purple rock with 1 or 2 very fine green ends .5mm in length.

Give it more time, is my tank conditions too crap for coral?

How long should it take? I've heard this coral is hardy as and the retailer is one of the best so don't want to go back knocking just yet lol

Mine took almost a week. Since then it's spread like weeds and I've fragged it and have multiple frags in other tanks. Just be patient - it's pretty tuff stuff

Stay patient, I've had it take over a week at times but like others have said once it does it will take off.
