Long time lurker, first time poster. I got a GSP frag for a grow out project after a year of resisting it. The frag I bought has some extra polyps growing from beneath the GSP blanket. Wondering if i could get an ID, or if anyone else has this on their GSP. In the picture, they are the light colored ball shaped polyps akin to a candy cane coral.

Good evening

I apologize for my lack of manners in taking so long to respond, so first #WelcometoR2R

I am not sure what is going on there, I am sure we have someone that will know.

Stop by the meet and greet forum if you like and introduce yourself so we can all say hi.

They almost look like a leather of some sort. My crown leather used to drop babies all the time and I'd find them growing in the oddest places. They looked just like that. And during the day you would see small polyps on the bulb end facing the light.

Interesting. I haven’t seen any polyps on them, but I’ll keep my eyes out.
