I had this Purple Tang in Copper for 15 days at 2.0. Then moved tang to a second tank. I'm guessing this is ich.

I agree with your thinking, looks like ick to me as well.
I see ovalish white to gray spots in the pic.

I actually think that’s velvet. Ich doesn’t usually look that much like dust particles and is much more spread appart. Here’s a comparison.

Looks like velvet to me as well? Is the fish breathing fast or swimming into the flow?
What kind of copper did you use? It should be run at 2.5 to be effective if copper power or coppersafe.
