I called and requested it get overnighted to my door minimize the die off that would happen during 3 day shipping. Hopefully it arrives with most of the interesting stuff still alive. If anyone else has any experiences with GLR feel free to share!

If you can’t do air cargo, that’s the best way. Now it’s in the hands of FedEx or whoever. Hopefully they prioritize your package and you get it early in the day.

Yeah I actually called Dan and asked if he could overnight it to my door. I originally asked for FedEx but he sent it thru UPS instead, im actually glad because from what I've been hearing FedEx there is really ********. It actually did arrive overnight and is out for delivery. It's scheduled to be here in the next hour because I live maybe 4-5 blocks from UPS (they always come really early in the day anyways because I can never catch them in time to return packages lol)! I will post pics as soon as its set up in my tanks :)

Nice. Mine was delivered FedEx and was a day late and then didn’t arrive till afternoon at that. Even with “Live Tropical Fish” stamped all over the outside of the box.

Mine spent about 36 hours in shipping. It stunk really bad. Pullout all dead clams (they most likely will die in your tank, so look out for that). The rock was cured/cycled in 10 days.

Yikes. I'm not sure if it was your experience thread that I read or someone else's but it sounded like a nightmare. How's your rock looking now? Luckily this has only been out for 24-26 hours give or take so I don't think the die off should be that intense.

I am very pleased with the rock. My tank is even supporting SPS after just 10 days. Look at how happy this monti is.

I added seachem prime occasionally and ran my skimmer to accelerate the cycle. I did a few 100% water changes during the first 4 days. Also switched on the light to 50% hoping to save anything that came on the rock.

So many signs of life already! Very minimal die off. It arrived triple bagged and inside of a Styrofoam box :) each rock was also individually wrapped in paper towels.
