What’s the best gyre wave maker I can get, best bang for buck. I want to be economical but don’t want a pile of junk

Running 125 Fowlr. 6’ long peninsula with 55 gal sump.
GSP
Zoas
Mushrooms
Current list of anything besides fish wise in the tank

Battling some Cyno right now. And would like something more powerful that I can put on one end of the tank, being a peninsula would like to keep open end clean and clutter free

Thanks for any advice or what to look at

I have 2 icecap 2k and they have been great. I’ve only had them about 6 months, but so far so good.

I have Maxspect Gyres. Both the X280 and the X350 series.
If you need want flow stick with the X280 series. The 200's have superior magnets by far and a lot more flow hands down, but much harder to clean by far. Noise level between is marginal. I have one X350 in my six foot peninsula and for me its enough flow. (When clean)

I have not owned the IceCap brand so I can not comment.

I run Maxspects in my tanks. A single Glamorca GP-03 in my 3’ 65g and a pair of 350s in my 5’ 130g. The 350s are great for a tank 5’ and up.

How do you like the magnet on the 350

The magnets are fine. The one I have in the RSR 250 is super strong and very stable. In the RSR 525 with the thicker glass it still holds perfectly well and doesn’t move around by itself, but it is a little easier to bump it up or down a little when cleaning the glass.
