Hi y’all,

So I’m having trouble positioning my gyre 2K pump in my IM 100 tank. It seems as flow is to strong if I position it on the end of the tank. It also seems that my random flow generators are in the way. I tried the back where the overflow is. Didn’t work well, blasted everything in front and side of it. Then I tried vertical underneath the return nozzles. It’s just ok, seems like I’d need an opposing pump if I leave it like this. Does anyone run a similar set up and how are your gyres positioned ?

Is it an Icecap gyre? If so, did you notice it can be split in half (it comes with a cap to cap off the end), and you will have a smaller gyre that’s 50% less powerful right there.

Thanks for the reply’s. Currently moved it right under the nozzle so far it’s ok. Could be how I set up my rock work in hind sight
