Hey everyone, it seems like every other day I'm unplugging and plugging back in my gyre 150s to reset them because they've stalled out and I'm getting the red status light on the Icecap module. I have two gyres running on opposite sides of the tank. They are programmed through the apex with opposing ramp up and ramp down intensities throughout the day.

Anyone else have this problem? Did you find a solution?

How old are they? Maybe they need to be cleaned or have the bushings replaced?

There is some sort of restriction, dirt or obstruction (snil, food etc) within.
Take out into bucket of water and pull tubes off and inspect for debris. Clean if necessary and plug back in while in bucket of water to assure normal operation

One is a couple years old, but i clean it regularly. The other is a year old and also cleaned regularly. I'll check them again, but what part is the bushing? The white plastic part that plugs the blades in?

Fill a 5g bucket with 3gal rodi, as hot as u can get it, mixed with 1 gal white distilled vinegar. Run 1 at a time in the bucket for about 45mins, turn the power off, remove the Cages, and tooth brush it. Rinse, replace, and repeat with the 2nd.

My xf250s slow down progressively over weeks to where I start them at 30 max, clean, and once I need to turn them to 60% max in order to maintain my desired flow, I follow the protocol above and they are like new immediately.

That's my 2c from a gyre owner.

Bushing is a little nipple on end of blade shaft
