I have had my haddoni for about a year. Fed 1-2 per month for the last 10 months. I have tried the last few days to feed some fresh amberjack(that I caught this weekend) the last few days, but the anemone has regurgitated it. Is this a problems? It still has a tight mouth and hasn't shrunken more than normal. Ideas or things I need to keep an eye on? Thanks for the help.

What are your parameters? (( with numbers please ))
Has anything else change with the tank lately?
How big of a piece was it? (( It is more difficult, and take more energy, for it to eat larger pieces. In addition a larger piece has a chance of not being fully digested and fouling the internal water )).

At this point I wouldn't worry too much about feeding it -- Been keeping S. haddonis for the last 15+ years, the one that I currently have hasn't been fed (( directly )) in about a year, it is still growing.

Nitrate 20
Calcium 420
Alk 8.4

I don't have an accurate phosphate test, but do run GFO and change on a regular basis. Also, haven't tested mag either. The haddoni still looks great--tight mouth, expands to normal size. I am wondering if I fed too large of a piece and I will try something smaller. Also, will try shrimp and some other mussels as well.

Thanks for the help.
