That's a great idea!!! If I get rid of my oven I can put my cube in its place with the 600 cfm range hood above!!! That should take care of the 400w radium heat . My wife might get mad though :/

Ya, that would certainly take care of it. I kid you not - before I got the exhaust fan the dehumidifier on the AC ran the whole time the lights were on. The funny thing is that the chiller only ran for a couple of hours a day. That radiant heat from MHs can be pretty serious at the surface. I just redid the office and in process raised the lights up to about 20" above the water. Should get a better spread and less evaporation. Regardless of how much that helps - aint getting rid of that MH rig. Aint doin it.

I currently have 1 Kessil A360w on my Nuvo 40 and I picked up 4 bulbs T5HO fixture and thingking swapping it out.

are you using an attachment on the camera to get into the water with it? I have the one made by avast but I know theres one made someone else with a different colored lens on it to help with taking pics under leds.

Most of my pics I just block the light with my camera & shoot above the water. Recently I've used the AVAST on some of them to get better angles.

I shoot in RAW and custom white balance. I don't use any colored lenses..........you don't need those with a decent camera regardless of the type of lighting.
