Halloween crab killing

Anyone with halloween crab experience…Just about to get a new supply of cuc, a little worried my halloween crab will kill most of it as I suspect it has killed my urchin and conch and snails, he has just moved into a new conch shell, do they only kill when hungry or need a new shell or do they just randomly kill?

I have had two of these crabs and they have always been 100% peaceful.

Hermits are known to sometimes kill snails without moving into their shells, and halloweens will target conches.

Great…wonder if I can buy a crab jail for my tank!
