I just saw this today first time I have ever saw this happen. help this my favorite coral!!! I just switched the coral from a 5 gallon nano tank to this 14 gallon bio cube
I couldn’t see the jelly, but I got old eyes. Are you seeing a brown like mucus coming out. That may bea jelly. Could u get a pix less blue to see colors better. They can release slime that looks like the disease but not brown if the get cranky.
Yay. Keep an eye on it. Even though water may be same the flow and light changed. If it still cranky maybe move a bit. It will usually tell u fast if you found the spot

Late to this thread, but that brown stuff is zooxanthellae algae being expelled by the coral.
This can sometimes be a normal occurrence, but also happens when the coral or nem is stressed, and can lead to bleaching or death.
This coral looks stressed and there might be some tissue recession from the skeleton at the front edge of that head.
Personally I'd leave it where it is and see if it recovers. Maybe decrease the light intensity a bit.
If you move it or dip it, that might just stress it enough more to kill it.
But that's just my opinion and others undoubtedly would handle it differently.
came back home after about an hour with light off then I reduced the light now it looks a little better I should add that the flow is about twice as much as the old tank now that I think about it.
