What are your water parameters, light, how old is the tank and when did you add the coral?

Still need lots of info,,,, how old is the tank, when did you add this coral, what type of water you using, what type of light, what for flow, why is salinity that low, why do you have ammonia in the tank, do you have other corals how are they doing????? There's a few red flags here. It kind of seems like you and the tank might not be ready for corals just yet....

If you have other corals doing well, especially if you say you have a frogspawn doing well, then I would take a guess that the hammer is in a poor location..... if all others doing ok and only one new coral only 3 days in your tank doing poorly, I would try a different placement..... perhaps closer to where the frogspawn is.

It could be light or flow, it could be that your parameters or something is very different than where it came from, sometimes that happens too and the coral just can't acclimate. Unfortunately we don't know why corals die, we can only offer our best guess. Hope it improves for you, or hope someone more knowledgeable is able to help, good luck

nothing, it will be fine if one or more polyps die. Many polyps have died on my hammer over the years, it just keeps growing. As long as one polyp remains, it can regrow a colony.
