Hammer Coral Question

Hey all,

We purchased a hammer from our LFS and we feel that he is ready to enter the display but one thing is holding us back. There are these growths all over the plug and the skeleton of the coral, I will post a picture. Is this something we need to worry about?

Agree, spirorbid worms and nothing to worry about.

Harmless mostly annoying doesn’t hurt to scrape them off but in my experience you’ll never fully get rid of them

Yes they do grow on corals but I don't think they doing any harm. I just scrape them off in my tank
