is there such thing as to little flow for a hammer I know you don't want to put them in high flow for risk of shredding it apart but mines in a low flow and it seems to be doing fine it's not receding or anything but just curious

How long has it been where it is and doing fine? If it's been a while, I'd leave it alone. The old adage applies...if ain't broke, don't fix it. Nice piece by the way.

Agree, if happy don't try to improve if working. It looks like it may be a wall hammer. If so they are not as easy to keep as para branching types. So they are a, if happy leave alone, more so than branching type.

If it ain't broke...

I have never had a wall hammer, but I have kept branching hammers in a tank with no flow other than the MJ1200 return pump.

That being said mine have seemed to prefer some noticeable flow.
