So I’ve had this hammer for over 2 months now and it’s been doing great. Really colorful and strong polyps but for the last couple of days, it’s mouth has been wide open and the polyps seem to be pointing downward. Any idea what this could mean or if it’s just normal?

The cleaner shrimp usually doesn’t go near it, he was just following my hand because he thinks he’s getting food. It’s definitely a possibility at night because he is out and about.

Likely because it is hungry. How often are you feeding it and what are you feeding ?

Usually just brine or some of the pellets I feed. Maybe about once every two weeks. I also dose Red Sea Coral Energy.
Energy is a 2 part additive and booster.
Brine of little value- try mysis, small chopped squid or krill and feed at least 2X per week.
