I don't have a par meter or a great light just an led hood light with a blue setting. New light coming next weekend. Do you think this hammer will be ok here I'd love him to take over this center ledge just didn't know if it was too shaded by that rock and that tree

Looks a tad shaded to me, I would put it in the sandbed to start and once you have your new light settings figured out next week you can give it a week or so to adjust on that sandbed before you start moving it up.

My hammer garden did best starting in the sandbed everytime! I tried with a few higher up and they were not as likely to be happy from the get go

Euphyllia requires med to low lights with med to low flow. light par anywhere from 100-150.
just from the pic and your lighting situation, you may need to bump him up a tad higher and add a bit more flow.

If it’s helpful, here is where my hammers and frogspawns are… 3/4 up in the tank, medium light and flow…they’ve doubled in size in 6 months!

It was shaded I moved a rock and changed the flow a little. I had him on the sand and was told to get him off of it 🤷🤷 I'm new to coral so wasn't sure exactly what to do. Here's a little video of him now he's not as swole up as he gets occasionally but will move him down til I get new lights if the more knowledgeable food think that's the best idea.
