Hi new to corals and am wanting to know if I should cut the disc down or add some rocks around it to hide the disc.
Thanks for any input.

You can. I generally just leave the disk as is unless it’s causing an issue with placement.

Will the coral grow around the disc so eventually you wouldn’t see it?

Eventually it will cover the plug, yes. And yes, you can certainly trim it if it’s not aesthetically pleasing.
