Hammer randomly died

What is your acclimation process with both the fish and corals?

Are you using any additives in the tank? Are you using RODI water for top off and salt mix?

Hopefully you don’t give up, but sometimes a break is good. @Allybug903

If you have other stuff in the tank maybe we go thru a quick checklist to rule out any obvious issue and leave the tank alone for a while. It will give you a break and time for the tank to settle down.

Anything need help on we can do:)

I have colonies of hammers. They like a bit more nutrients in the water... They don't like a ton of flow. Mine are fairly tolerant of a lot of light.

When I have fragged them in the past, I have had some frags that will die off for no reason whatsoever. Perhaps you had a frag that just puked out. I have a colony I am looking at now that is bigger than a basketball. If you were close by, I would offer you a nice piece. They are great to have in a reef tank.
