Have a mature tank mixed reef, that has torches, leathers, gsp, pulsing Xenia, kenya tree and Duncan’s growing well. My hammers and anemones are not growing or if anything maybe have gotten smaller.

I have a skimmer which I have not used and do water changes with Red Sea pro every 1-2 week.

Should I be dosing? Should I increase the light? To be honest I don’t check parameters but will get a test kit this week and see what things look like.

Thoughts?

First thing everyone will ask for is tank parameters. It’s hard to make recommendations for adjustments without them as a starting point.

Figures and it makes sense, just thought with some things thriving and others not it might be an indication.

Will get the test kits and see what happens

Corals need light flow and nutrients to grow. I find many people underestimate how much light and flow corals like, and in these threads it often does come down to light or flow.

Then again, if your not testing your water, it could be anything.
