Is it ok to be putting my hands in the tank to clean the inside glass? I have been starting to wear gloves. Am i messing with the stablizzation of the tank by putting my hands in?
I've never used gloves doing anything.

50 years.

Some folks have experience allergic reactions from frequent salt water exposure, so keep your gloves dry and have fun reefing.

I used to work with coral daily and I started getting an allergic reaction on my hands and arms from always having them in saltwater. That was 10+ years ago - it's not an issue for me anymore since I just keep tanks as a hobby now. I keep my hands out of the water as much as possible but when I do have to get in there, I wash with hot water only and dry my hands well before going in the tank, no gloves.
