What is the shelf life for Hanna alkalinity reagents after opening?

dKH in tank has been dropping. Increased 2-part alkalinity dosing.
And still had a reading that was under 7.

Purchased a new box and reading was 10.5 dKH

What was the lot number? This exact same thing, including the same numbers that happened to me. I verified with another test kit and 10.4 was accurate for me. The low one was lot 160 I believe.

According to Hanna the life once opened is approximately 3 months.

They do not recommend refrigeration, however @Lasse and others including myself find that it extends the shelf life a great deal.

Oh no not another thread regarding this issue.

fridge works it’s always worth keeping one test and comparing the results to a new batch number to get an idea on the variance
