Got a hanna alkalinity checker

Says you take 1ml of the reagent to put into your water in the vial

What tip do you use to put on end of syringe?

A large clear plastic tip came with but that doesnt hrlp suck up any raegent

No tip? Used?

Every reagent refill comes with syringe and a tip (just to keep the reagent in a tip and not into the actual syringe).
Tip shoved onto the syringe is what you use.

I don't understand the actual issue though so maybe a picture would help.
*the "tip" has a rubber piece that secures it to the front of the syringe so make sure that's in place

EDIT -- pictures for clarity...

The little rubber thingy in the middle of picture is what creates the seal so make sure you have that in place:
*it's usually just in the plastic "tip" that you mentioned but can pull out

Should be air in the tip. Maybe the tip is clogged or malformed.

Does it pull back when tried in air?

Maybe just wait several seconds for it to fill.

Never had that problem so no idea.
Can you blow air through the tip freely?
Does the syringe move freely (to bring in air) without the tip?
