I have a hard green algae growing on my tank. I have been having to use a razor to get it off of my glass as the magnetic scrubber i normally go over the glass with can’t remove it.
Any ideas as to what sort of algae this could be, it is a brightish green, not like coraline
Thanks

Is it on your dry rock as well? I have the same and am curious what it actually is. Doesn't scrub off the rock either.

It might just be Coralline algae. This does come in a wide variety of colors. Purple, pink, red, orange etc.

I have noticed the same algae growing on my glass. Mag float doesn't remove it but my astrea snail seems to love this stuff. No idea what it is. Definitely not coralline.
