Harem & Bta Tank

Hi R2R,

So here is my tank.
My harem & nennie tank has been running for more than a year now, however the tank itself has been running a total of 3 years.

This tank has had it all from an ULNS with SPS only to complete mixed reef. Then about a year and a half ago I introduced the first Bta to the tank and completely fell in love with the elegance of the bubbletip.

That prompted me to sell off all the sticks and fish and went clownfish only.

All the clownfish are locally tank bred and were from the same clutch. When i introduced the 15 clowns into the tank the were about the size of a quarter.

Currently 15 clowns, 2 fire fish, 2 peppershrimp, quite a few snails and a serious amount of hermits call this tank home

So a bit more info on the tank itself.
it is a 50g cube
Lights, main tank is one Hydra 26HD running the BRS AB+ settings. Sump is one Zetlight 1201
nutrients are kept in check with Cheato and a bubblemagus BM5 skimmer.
I dose Aquaforest comp123 via a doser to keep kh,ca & Mg in check
Fish are fed 3x pd via autofeeder & the corals are fed every 2nd day with coralific delight
Nennies are target fed once in a while when i think they need a Sunday lunch

KH 8.3

Cool tank! BTAs are awesome but I'm always worried they'll take over the tank via splitting. Do yours split frequently or have they stayed pretty consistent in numbers?

Cool tank! BTAs are awesome but I'm always worried they'll take over the tank via splitting. Do yours split frequently or have they stayed pretty consistent in numbers?

They split every 4months or so. I trade the splits with other reefers. So not really bothered. I try and maintain the current number of 18. They hardly move as I noticed they only move if you don't feed enough
